Thank you for the well wishes and prayers. I'm home now. They have me hooked into a motorized cooling machine (fancy ice packs) and a nerve block/pain catheter. I have zero feeling from the knee down which is a temporary blessing. I also have to keep my "toes above me nose." It's not a pretty site but I'm trying to convince myself that I'm as cool as Tony Stark with all these mechanisms attached to me.
The also gave me this great "fall alert" bracelet during pre-op to remind me and everyone around me how klutzy I am! I just have to laugh at that one!
Thank you Hubby John Schalow for the bowl of spaghetti I've been craving for the last 12 hours! 😘😘
